What to expect during your first visit.

We’re glad that you’ve chosen Towne Center Animal Hospital to treat and care for your pets! For your first visit, please remember to bring any of your pet’s previous medical or adoption records. You can also print out and complete our ‘New Client Pet Form’ before your visit. By providing us with this information, we can begin to create a comprehensive patient history for your pet. In addition, please bring your pet in a carrier or on a leash to prevent incidents with other animals in the lobby.

When you arrive, you’ll be checked in at the front desk by one of our helpful staff. One of our veterinary technicians will escort you and your pet into an exam room when it becomes available. The veterinary technician will take a patient history, vital signs, and measure your pet’s weight. Next, Dr. Z will perform a wellness exam on your pet. During the exam, you can consult the doctor with any questions or concerns you have about your pet’s health. Dr. Z may discuss diagnostic or treatment options for your pet at this point.

After the exam, a veterinary technician will return to provide you with educational materials and answer any questions you may have regarding pet care. You will then meet our client care specialist, who will arrange payment options and any future appointments you may wish to schedule.

We found Towne Center Animal Hospital when we got our 2nd dog Maverick, because we were very interested in the cold laser neuter (which was AMAZING & well worth the price! Our boy never licked the incision, didn't need a cone at all, he healed SO quickly & never seemed to be in any pain!!). We switched our oldest dog over to Dr. Z and their staff even though it is about a 20 min longer drive but it is worth it, because I have never been to a vet in 30 years that cares for the animals like they do.
When we had to put our oldest, Mason, down in March, 2023, who was 16ys old & a large dog, so his hips went bad & his body wouldn't fight the bladder infections anymore. Dr. Z NEVER pressured us & actually when we first went in for evaluation, he said he had at least 5-6 months of still being comfortable, which was so amazing for us! They gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye.. which I think was close to an hour.. they could tell how hard it was, we can't have kids so our dogs are literally our children. They explained the process and Mason passed peacefully. They put so much thought into paw prints and some packages you can buy if cremating, its beautiful! Maverick has been going there for almost 4 years *he turns 4 tomorrow!* and 2 weeks ago we got our new baby Murphy, & he went in for his 3rd round of shots, & they all snuggled him & loved on him so much!
If you are looking for an AMAZING Vet & Staff that Truly Care about your pets, Dr. Z's office is for you. They may not be the cheapest vet, but I gladly drive and pay a little more for the amazing care they give our babies. As long as we live within an hour of their office, we will never go to another Veterinarian, or until Dr. Z retires. Hoping not for a long time 🤞

I have to thank Dr Z and his staff for even in one of the hardest day of my life; letting go of my dog Sunshine, they didn't made me feel alone. I felt the love and compassion from everyone in the office. They all went far and beyond to made me and my dog feel loved and that it was going to be ok. I will forever be thankful of you all. RIP Sunshine!

Dr. Z is so compassionate, understanding, and truly loving. I felt warm, welcomed, and safe from the moment we arrive; we were treated quickly with such care. My cat Luna was so calm afterward she didn’t meow at all and purred the entire way home. I’m so grateful for Dr. Z and his wonderful care and his assistant Cierra was wonderful too.

I can’t say enough good things about how well Dr. Z and his staff cared for my dog Molly over the years. Particularly recently when we had to send her off to dachshund heaven. They were so kind and caring. They just followed up with a condolence card with kind words from the entire staff. I could not give a higher recommendation to Dr. Z and Town Centre.

Dr. Z and staff are the best, facility is always clean, they do not over charge you for their services or recommend anything that is not needed. I know my fur-baby receives the best care when I bring him in, every time.
